DT 4.2 Rims

I am getting a new set of wheels built for my new bike and i was originally going to get some Mavic XM719's.
The shop has said they were having difficulty getting hold of them and asked if I wanted something else. I was thinking of maybe trying the DT' 4.2s but don't know how suitable they would be.
I mainly ride XC like the south downs and trail centres in South Wales. The wheels will be going on a Titus MotoLite frame using Chris King hubs.

I have the 4.2 rims myself, rear is on a DT Swiss hub, front on a Hope hub. They are very light and i've had no problems with them. I don't think the bike frame will cause any difference in how the rims work. Just make sure a competent wheel builder puts it all together.Specialized Rockhopper '07

I would say you'll be fine with those. They are comparable to Mavic XC717s.0
