New build - advice please

Hi guys,
After a bit of advice please. I'm looking at changing my current full sus for a hardtail as I want to improve my bike handling skills and feel the 'big' bike is to ott for my riding. So with this in mind I'm looking at a Cotic BFe and building it up as a 'all-mountain' rig if thats what you want to call it these days.
I'd be building it up as follows but want to know if it would be a decent bike for singletrack, light downhill stuff and all day riding:
Cotic BFe, Pike 454 Coil U-Turns, XT or SRAM X9 gearing, Formula K24's, XT or Race Face chainset, Hope ProII on Mavic EN321's, Hope DH Stem, Race Face Atlas bars, easton seat post and sdg saddle
If not some I'm open to other recommendations, but not the Stiffee or Chameleon, Stiffee too expensive and I've ridden a Chameleon at the Glentress demo day and was not impressed with it.
Cheers

Sounds a reasonable, tough build, but wont be light. Quite a few threads with this theme worth hunting out: usual suspects are Kinetic Pha5e, pace 305,0

if your doing it yourself you will need the tools to put the XT BB in, it will need to be faced before you even think of putting that on your bike. unless you have all the tools i think this will be a very hard build.0

Not sure what you mean but the if its in regards to the Pikes they are def 454's.
In terms of the headset and BB that will be done by the LBS, everything else me and a mate will do as he has just finished building up an Inbred.0 -
I have a Kinesis Pha5e with pike 454s on and it’s a killer ride, basically a stiffe but a load cheaper.
As for the spec, it all looks top notch. If you can spring for the Easton carbon DH bars I can recommend them0 -
What's the ride like on the Kinesis Pha5e? I know the Cotic is smooth because of the 853 tubing as its the same on my mates Inbred and he says its great but not sure about the Easton RAD, especially on longer rides as I've heard the back end can be quite harsh0
