I got some Exteondo overshoes last year but they've taken a bit of a battering as I've come a cropper and from snaggering on my cleats.
So has anyone ever made lycra overshoes out of old shorts? If so how did it go, did you use a pattern or are there other interesting options?

I bet you've got a Blue Peter badge haven't you....
I've seen a few club riders using old socks with holes cut out, can't say I've ever noticed anyone with a pair of shorts on there feet though....0 -

My reasoning is that as shorts come to the end of their useful life, could they be resurrected in another form. Obviously if you're using bibshorts you need to remember to cut the shoulder straps off as you don't want them getting caught in your chain....''Please look at my handmade cycling cufflinks0 -

Hey Mog,
I saw your sig for the Manchester Wheelers site.
Whatever happened to The Manchester Wheelers?
In the early 80's they were THE team, winning nearly every TT and amatuer RR.
How come they've dwindlled ?
Just interested that's all.0
