Bars for small hands

I'm looking to change the rather wide Bontrager bars on my Lemond bike for some narrower ones and am wondering if there are some that would suit my smaller hands better as the Ultegra levers are a bit of a stretch for me. Are Easton EA70 ergo bars a good option?

Deda Newton or 215 in shallow drop format are usually pretty good for this. Also, consider fitting 'Slim Shims' (made by Specialized) to your Ultegra levers to bring the levers back towards your hands.

  • A Pro PLT compact for about £25 quid, or if you feel flash there's the FSA Wing Pro Shallow for about £65.
The slim shims already mentioned are useful as well (they are about 4 quid for a set).
