One of the longest running road races in the country will not be making it's 53rd appearance on 20th April due to some sort of fall out between Thames Valley Police and the organisers decision to use police outriders from a different area. Very sad news indeed.

    Please hold off from any anti-police comments. Work is going on to salvage a future for the event and any vocal campaign would probably be counter-productive

    I've previously assisted in the marshalling of this event as a member of the MotorCycle Escort Group put together by the BCF, is this still an option?
