Hi, im looking for a new rear tyre, it has to be of the UST variety and of a harder wearing compound than the 42a super tacky high roller which im using already, it also needs to be 2.35! the super tackys great but not quite long lasting enough for me!( i know this is because its a race tyre!) Any input much appreciated!!cheers

Michelin are your only other option, but they wear just as fast.

If your wearing the rear tyre out, stop locking your rear wheel as much.

  • not specifically a DH tyre but I'm using Continentals Mountain King UST 2.4 and my initial impressions are very good, 800g, good levels of grip and seems to be fairly hardwearing (although a little early to tell) had them for about 2 months so far so good. not many reviews out for them as they are a fairly new tyre.

    Halo Choir Master UST
Michelin Mountain Extrem 2.2 (same size as a High Roller 2.35)
    Schwalbe Fat Albert 2.4 UST
or High Roller 2.35 Dual Ply 60a (non UST) with sealant.
