should all the teeth be even and angled in same direction?checked mine last night while cleaning and noticed for first time uneven angles on the teeth...norm or wrong please?

    probably normal, there can be slight differences between teeth to facilitate the chain moving, if you check carefully you will see repeating patterns.

    thanks...they do all seem to angle at a given point together

    I've found this more noticable on Shimano - Several of my cassette sprockets have teeth that are twisted (in addition to slightly different profiles and ramps).
    I find Shimano to be smoother shifting than my Campag. bike.
