Sorry if there's a thread out there already....but 196 days?? Is that possible? He must have legs of steel. Or should that be titanium?

Wow!! If he actually cycled 18,000 miles (not including boat crossings?) it means an average of 92 miles a day over the 195 days.0

Yes - Nick Sanders 79 days back in1983? on an Ilkston built 753 road bike.

My only reservation would be that he seems to have taken quite a roundabout route through the US in order to build up the critical 18,000 miles ? What does everyone else think?0
