Sorry if there's a thread out there already....but 196 days?? Is that possible? He must have legs of steel. Or should that be titanium?

I believe there have been changes to the rules ...
Yes - Nick Sanders 79 days back in1983? on an Ilkston built 753 road bike.

Knowing he had been round in 30 days on a motorbike, then a bit more googling discovered it to be the same Nick Saunders!

My only reservation would be that he seems to have taken quite a roundabout route through the US in order to build up the critical 18,000 miles ? What does everyone else think?
