I've decided to go for the Specialized Sport Road Shoes and was wondering what pedals to go for. I am looking for a mid-range pedal for someone new to clipless and who isn't going to make an arse of himself everytime he stops for traffic lights
Any advice guys?...and girls :?

Look Keo Classics might fit the bill - reasonably priced and straight forward to engage / disengage. When choosing cleats, there are three float options ranging from 0 to 15 degrees. I went for the 15 degrees which are the grey ones, I think.0

I think ebay is the cheapest place for them.
Thanks. Is there much difference between the Shimano and Look? They both seem about the same price and I've seen the Look in red which would match nicely with the Bar tape and red bits on me new saddle.
Your steed's looking pretty good now. What's it like to ride?0 -

The new SPD-SLs have a far larger contact area with your feet, feel a lot better. Yesterday I swopped my old type 105 pedals on my old bike to the new type 105s, and the contact area makes a hell of a difference. Got new 105s on both my bikes now.Harry B wrote:Your steed's looking pretty good now. What's it like to ride?
It's still sitting in my flat unridden unfortunately.
I want to bring it home from Warrington before I use it, I hate the roads there, just don't enjoy it there. I'm home this week, managed to get in a couple of short rides on my old bike, which I wished I was able to have done on my new bike.0
