18,000 miles in 195 days. Mega effort. I don't imagine that he will want to see another bike for a while....

    Just over 92 miles a day if he was on the bike everyday . Sheeeesh !
    The thing is it was an around the world jobby and a lot of 'back-of-beyond' stuff . I imagine that takes some doing . My best was averaging a ton everyday for 3 months but upon the easy streets of Europe . Big difference .

    Fantastic effort. It's not just the physical challenge but he'd need to mentally strong to be able to get on his bike every day and ride over roads and terrain that would be totally new to him.
