SportTracks and Garmin Courses
I've been using http://www.mapmyride.com to create routes/courses for my Garmin Edge 205 for a while now and loading them into the 205 via the Garmin Training Centre (TC) software. The TC software is the weak link in the process so last night I looked at the SportTracks software as a possible replacement of TC.
SportTracks looks much better for taking training history from the 205 but can it be used for getting new courses to the 205 in the first place? I can't see how to do this in as simple a way as using TC so any help would be appreciated.
I've been using *.crs courses so far as they give a complete route to follow on the 205, I'd like to have complete routes rather than way points using SportTracks if possible.
Thanks for any help you can give,
Gav.

Hi Gav
Still quite a novice when it comes to setting up courses on my Garmin, but this is my experience:
I also use Sportstracks software with my 305. I find it very good for looking at where I have been (i.e. on a real map and not that disgraceful Training Center offering). I don't think that the uploading facility is available yet, so you can't create a route and put it into the Garmin.
Like you, I have been using mapmyride.com for this purpose.
Hope this helps
Rgds
