Spin Stix - any good?
Hi all - i've just bought myself a pair of Easton EA90 SLX wheels and need a nice light pair of skewers to go with them.
After looking on the web Use's "spin stix" have caught my eye. Has any one got a pair? What do you think? Is there anything better out there?

Not tried the spin stix. The Tune skewers get a pretty good review. You can get them from poshbikes.0

Spinstix get a thumbs down. on the front wheel fine but on the rear my wheel would always pull & so I had to run the spinstix tight - eventually the threads gave up.
Hope maybe?0 -
Have a pair : no problems except that :
a) They don't fit some bikes due to the shape of the rear seat/chain stays where they meet at the rear dropout and the way that you need to spin the LH 'lever' to tighten it.
b) Used them on my RR bike and when I crashed I discovered that the LHside part (where the cam is normally) is prone to digging in to the tarmac and pulling the wheel slightly out of the dropout. I discovered this when I accelerated out of a corner a few miles later to find the rear wheel jumped sideways in the dropouts !
Recommended for a TT or bling road bike but not so much for a bike used for road races.0
