What bottom bracket do i need on my specialized epic 2003 , are they all different sizes etc etc

what cranks do you have?

I have specialized cranks at the moment but will be going for XT however i would like to keep the same bottom braket as needs doing before i can buy the cranks,

xt comes with own BB, buy whatever will fit your current cranks if it is needed now.

Ok thats good any ideas what to go for ? something that will do for a couple of months and isnt too pricey as i will have no use when i get the xt.

take it into your lbs and get them to fit whatever fits

Shimano ES-70 XT, Octalink spline, 68mm shell width, 113mm spindle length
