Pro Tour Pundit 2008
The UCI may have cocked up the actual Pro Tour, but fear not, the Bikeradar Pro Tour Pundit is back for another season!
How to Play
For those who have never played before, the concept is an easy one: test your punditry skills against other forum members by correctly picking the riders you think will win the year's most prestigious races (and a few not-so-prestigious races chucked in for good measure).
A few days before an upcoming race, look out for a new thread with a title like "PTP - *Race name*" Just stick your choice in there, and if it's a stage race, make sure to post your stage winners too. You don't have to register or anything like that - if you're a Bikeradar member, you can play PTP.
Calendar
After much procrastination, the races included in this year's competition are:
Points System
I've also tinkered with the points system this year, dispensing of the "class a" and "class b" of single-day races that the UCI used in the past. Okay, I know winning San Sebastian is not the same as winning Paris-Roubaix, but it's less complicated if the points are the same for both races.
The grand tours offer greater rewards for good punditry, but all the other races throughout the season use the same points.
During stage races, there are points awarded for picking daily winners too:
Finally, here's a list of past winners. As you can see, yace is the BR version of Carlos Sastre!

I think it's the more the merrier. The current leader does even race bikes, he's a hockey player with quite limited knowledge. He did wear a yellow shirt to work today, though, as befits his status.Twitter: @RichN950 -
