hi all.
im selling my Rockshox Toras to a mate of mine, but my frame is a 18" and his is a 20". i know the headtubes are different lengths, and therefore the steerer tube of the toras is too short. would this work in making the steerer tube the correct length for his frame?

dont do it. not really a good idea for MTB's.
Head tubes are not aways different lengths. get hime to measure his current steerer tube length and then measure yours."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

so how many spacers does he use? use less."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

erm, 1X10mm, and 1X5mm spacers, so yeh, i reckon he could lose 10mm or so!Carbon 456... http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/8854609/0
