Clubs - Staines/Windsor area

Does anyone know of any clubs in the Staines/Windsor area? I'm am new to the area and really don't know my way around yet and was hoping to join a club in order learn some local routes with some experienced riders. I'd prefer not to go at it on my own and find myself merging with the traffic on the M25. Thanks in advance

Thames Velo meet in Maidenhead. They have a good reputation I think.

I rode to Windsor from Addlestone and back through Virginia Water, Egham, Chobham, and Ottershaw.

Fairly nice 'country-fied' roads mostly, and worked out at 40 miles.

I'm sure it would be alright to do it in reverse although you'd need a good reason to visit Addlestone. :roll: :twisted:
