ight then, What a beautiful day As my day off I thought that i'd get my 1st decent ride of the year I planned on 60+ miles. This theory went well, lots of hills (one that was 20%) which I got up, working those muscles. I was having so much fun, I decided to go for my first 100.

Anyway, things were looking good on the rolling Welsh hills up to Brecon. On the way back, it went wrong. A Quarry Lorry (I'm a poet and I didn't even know it) pulled out in front of me. I had to take to a rough area that was for cars to pull over.

When I say rough I mean ROUGH with rocks bedded in. The driver thought this was a good idea too so that he could, "get out of my way" but he just came straight towards me. I seriously thought I was a gonner. Fate dealt a hand, I hit a rock at 20mph, went over and that was the end of my 100 bid.

I walked to the nearest pub in Penderyn (that of the Whisky) waited, after a call and was kindly picked up and then got a curry out of it.

I'm a mess but nothing broken, not on me anyway.
