Its a bit nippy! Got up, and went downstairs, could see my breath. It was warmer in the fecking fridge!
  • I was enjoying a nice lie-in til I got woken up by the cleaner banging around. Looks like a nice day for a ride though.....

    Morning all.

Nice and warm now I've got two heaters on the go!

Always amazes me that when visibility is seriously impaired, as it is this morning with the fog, people in silver or white cars refuse to use any lights and still try to travel at 90mph on the A3. Idiots!!
  • Morning!
Feeling pretty poor today. Ended up in the spare bed as this headcold is making my snoring even worse than normal and my wife has a very sharp elbow! Now freezing my whatsits off outside, and occaisionally popping in to warm up and make a cuppa. Still reeling from the astoundingly good weather at the weekend.

and bonus, the bike barely needs any tweaking at all to be ready for the next ride!

Looks like summer outside, but upon putting my head out the window it is still a bit chilly, i'll wait a few hours for it to warm up and then get out on the bike. For a change no wind!

Its definitely 'nearly disappeared' on the bollocks retraction scale. Icy.
  • The alternative scale is "how many cd's could you hang on a nipple?"

Today is not proper cold (Beatles back catalogue) but certainly colder than a Chesney-Hawkes day!

Hmm, not a happy chappy, had a cold all last week, forced myself out on Sunday, weather was too good to miss but really struggled. Now I'm off work with a sinus infection according to the doc so I'm at home with this fantastic weather but every time I move my head it feels like the front is going to explode

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result
  • I had a wicked day. It was lovely out so I went for a ride to the bank to sort out some things.

Then went to southport with a friend for a walk down the pier. Without a coat it was that warm!!

Then I went and did a bit of shopping.

Then went to the gym and did 20k on the bike and went for a swim & a sauna then a verrrrrrrrrry cold shower!

Busy day! Back to work on Thursday! Gutted! :(

  • I have not ridden for a while

Two of my bikes are out of commission with braking and steering problems and the third is not even built yet.....

Sounds like you had a good day though! :D

PS: How's the new Kona working out?
  • It's wicked, went for out for a ride last night down through one of the parks then to the docklands where I work. I'm totally in love with it. Its amazing.... love the brakes and being able to lock the suspension and the forks! Endless fiddling! Haha... the only exception is the pedals which you know about. She's so pretty though.

Cant wait till I get to use it proper!
