Cube Agree GTC R600 2007

Hi,
I'm thinking of buying a road bike for the summer and beyond, after reading about the cube
agree in cycling plus and trying to find which bike would suit my build at 6' 2.
The agree gtc race compact seem to answer what I was looking for in my first road bike. The 2007 model is coming in a lot cheaper and more in my budget.
My questions are
1: Is there much difference btw 2007 and the 2008 models?
2: Is this the right first road bike to buy and also being 6'2?
3: Has anyone got one ? what do you think?
4: Any other make/model you would recommend?
