Which parts to upgrade

I have a basic Groupset (Campy Xenon) on a decent frame (Condor Fratello). If I wanted to improve my ride, which bits would be most worthwhile upgrading? Shifters? Cranks? Or does it only make a difference if you do the whole lot at the same time?

You need to ask yourself what you don't like and why !
Decent wheels and tyres are generally a good place to start when upgrading ( if not done already )0 -

To best take advantage of the frame, what would be a good amount to spend on wheels?0 -
Wheels and tyres first...
New brake pads (good ones).
Make sure drive system (sprockets, chain and chain rings) aren't worn, if so buy slightly better ones (upgrade path).
Saddle if very heavy or uncomfortable - easily halve the weight of the original.
Most fairly cheap upgrades, except wheels/tyres, but they will be first.
Wheels - depends upon what the bike is worth, but even Mavic Aksiums are good, from £120 or Fulcrum..... you can spend what you like really, say £200 would get a really decent pair of Factory wheels, or hand built ones - things start to get rather exotic after about £300 - on to over £1000.... I'm using Aksiums and Ksyriums - the roads are rubbish where I live, and I ride the bike pretty hard so strength is important. Always had hand builts as well, only that my hubs were getting out of date so went for factory as they worked with my older gear systems and I could get new sprocket sets.0 -
