super cheap road bike for commute

So im after a super cheap road bike to use as a commuter and possibly the odd light rides at weekends when my MTB is out of action.

As there are hoodrats that seem to be doing a lot of theving at the moment im looking to spend no more then £100 on it so if they get their mits on it it doesn't matter.

I know i wont get a lot for this sort of money, but then all i need is something that is going to be reliable and not desintigrate after 2 rides (I don't exactly go easy on my bikes)

Any suggestions where I can look? and the sort of thing to look for? There doesnt seem to be much on ebay that I can get to to pick up

    OR go to shops that off P/ex bikes ...
    as i dont know where you are i cant recomend any

    not a lot in the local papers around here (norwich), ad trader seems to be flooded with junk as well.

    I will try cash converters or look out for some of the p/ex bike sites though.
