Hayes Sole Help...

Last week I removed my hayes sole brake from another bike at fitted it to a new bike this week. For the past couple of days the brake has beugn to lose power and feel really spongy.
Exactly the same has happened before right after it was bled by my lbs. That time I sent it back to them, but they said it wasn't air in the brake and it didn't need bleeding again. Apparently they just adjusted something on the lever which fixed the problem.
As this seems to be exactly the same problem I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction as what to adjust?
Thanks,
Tom

You might have to adjust the pads in the calliper via the allen bolts on either side of the calliper and you might ahve to adjust the calliper on the bracket. There are four bolts to mount the calliper to your frame, 2 for the bracket which don't need any adjustment and the 2 which mount the calliper to the bracket. Loosen these 2 and squeeze the lever a few times then adjust the pads via the allen bolts on the front and back of the calliper, also read the PDF manual from the Hayes site.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Ok thanks for your help.
I'll give that a go in the morning and see if it works!

There is a small 2.0mm allen key in the lever, where the piston joins the brake lever. This is for reach adjustment.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Heya,
All fixed now... It was the little thingy behind the lever. I guess it had just worked lose with riding and I hadn't noticed the gradual change. Anyway, i've tightened it up and it seems to be working fine now.
Thanks for your help,
