Great day today. Brilliant turn out and lots of interest for many rides in the future.

nice group of people, really optimistic .
the pub is crap went back in for dinner at 1330 and all the food was gone! there were only 15 people in there. They must of eat alot.

Looks great!

I went surfing with a load of mates - it was near perfect.

Will try and be there for the next meet (with wife and another girl).

A few decent pubs I know of in handy places too.

Night ride...def up for it but can't do tuesday as I have the day off and Iam going to Dartmoor to have a play up there.

Is wed any good? 6.30hrs outside the Volvo garage?
If anyone really wants to come and does'nt have any lights I have a spare set....

matt, porthtowan looked very good from the top of the hill i have to say! mawgan porth was looking good too! (atleast ithink thats the name of the second beach we passed!)

and yup, i am deffinately the numpty in the middle of the group pic! haha! only cycling gear on me being the helmet, bag and shoes haha!

Would have been Chapel Porth - Mawgan Porth is near Newquay!
Must have been a very scenic ride.
Great to hear things happening with Cornish MTBing.

Thats the one! i knew it had porth in it! haha! (had it not been for th enice run off, i may had made it into the surf from the top of the hill too! haha!) yes very scenic! the run from the towans down to chapel porth is a good one thats for sure! the one back up not so good!
