Newbie Question Mongoose Tyax

Ive been looking for a newbie bike for £200.

From searching through the forum it would seem to be the Mongoose Tyax Elite 2007 for about £230.

I was wondering the following:
1. whats the difference between this and the Mongoose Tyax Comp
2. wheres the best place to buy one online as i dont live anywhere near a bike shop
3. If I was to stretch the budget to £250, what would be the best bike to get and from where.

The Elite has a much better fork, and some upgraded components. Prob the best bike for less than 300 quid.

wheres the best place to buy one online, i need a 16" / 17" inch which i think equates to mongoose "small"

Anywhere you can find one, rare bike now the 2007, very good seller! I would of course recommend trying it, but understand the problems you face.

Can anyone help find a Mongoose Tyax elite, Evans cycles only has XL.

appear to have them in small size. Not heard of cyclex but think sunsetmtb are ok
