I have bought in haste a Kona Dawg 06 model which was at a really good price on the internet. Unfortunately before I could go out and test it I did my back in, which meant it was a couple of months after I bought it that I found out it was just too big for my stumpy legs  !! There is no way I can get a refund on it even though it has never been used in anger (the furthest it has been is round my local park), but it is just beyond the point where I would feel comfortable going down or up a hill due to the size of the frame. I am absolutely gutted as it feels like a great bike otherwise!

Anybody got any advice as to what would be the best way of me cutting my losses and getting as much wonga back to put towards a bike that is the right size for me? Is ebay the best place to sell on a bike? Are there places that I could get a decent part ex or would I be better breaking it down and selling as parts? any advice would be gratefully received!

buy a replacement frame and swap the bits over.

if you bought it of the internet why not try asking the company you bought it from for a trade in?
tell them the situation and im sure they will give you a good deal.
