Garmin Edge stem mount

Hi,

My Garmin Edge's stem mount has broken. I have a spare handlebar mount but I can't have it on the bars, has to be on the stem. I bought a replacement kit but that only had handlebar mount.

Any thoughts? Am I alone in this?

Pull the cable tied out, turn the mount thru$ 90 degrees, and it will fit your bars.

Indeed the 90 degree thing will work as a stopgap but it's far from ideal.

The two mounts (stem and bar) are exactly the same, just swapped round in this way to make it fit wherever you want it. There is a little rubber wedge that can be placed under the mount but this is not part of the mount itself so can be moved between them.

yeah as above - they are the same thing - you just turn the rubbery bit round if i remember correct..
