Hi all,

I;m thinking of a new courier bag or single strap ruck sack and have seen a brand called Knog has anybody any experience? If so which bag and how good was it?

Many thanks in advance

  • I bought a Knog bag in a bit of an emergency from Halfords (the shame) - but I had to get my laptop home from work and I didn't have my Alturas with me. Also, I'd always been after a bag that would convert between a regular pannier and a messenger bag. It only cost £22, so I was bit worried that it wouldn't be up to much - but it's actually been a good purchase.

The pannier fittings seemed a bit lightweight and I was worried the pannier might jump off going over a pothole, but they've been fine (though not as good as the Kaul/Rixen fixings). It's well designed, well made and looks pretty good...

I can't remember the model name of mine (it's grey/orange in colour) - but if you want something that you can wear as a courier bag or a pannier, I'd recommend it
  • Thanks Alan,

Bit of a coincidence I was at halfords and saw them - they did look OK. My wife bought one of the messenger bags a while ago which I was a bit jealous of: see - Knog Baksak Medium Messenger Bag at wiggle. I also like the look of this one - Knog Forte Messenger Bag. but I am worried it may be to big.

I think having looked at the other ones I in Halfords I may go for the same bag as the wife!

Once again - thanks for the response
