Please see, Cedric Garcia Gloves.

Need some gloves for road and XC use and have heard bad reviews from 661, the seem keeps splitting.

Also my 661's have split as well after 5 rides, what you guys using.

Please Help such a mine field.

  • You can't go wrong with Fox sidewinders, pretty much the best gloves out there in my opinion.

Having said that I had 2 pairs of 661 comps that never gave me any problems.

Have a look on CRC, they have plenty of gloves in their sale too, especially if you don't
mind them a couple of seasons old.

I've got a pair of Endura Dexters, quite like them, warm but not too warm. Downside, the first pair split down the seam first ride out. Second pair seem to be lasting longer (3 rides so far).
It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

    I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
    Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result

Troylee xc's get my vote, good quality, perfect for spring and summer, bit cold in winter though.

I've just bought my wife some 08 Sombrio Cartels, not tried them yet but I'm thinking of getting myself some - initially quality seems bang on and they're nice looking!

Those Sombrio Cartels are sweet looking.

Cant find any on sale, so might have to pay 29.99

Got a pair of Fox, about 5 years old and just starting to become a little threadbare, so can vouch for them!
Admittedly the padding went flat quite a while ago though.

    Hey guys

Thanks so much for the advise, got the 661 SX-1's they look sweet and at 17.99, cant go wrong.

Will give them another try, maybe size small was a bit small and ripped.

Fox Incline gloves for me! Just plain, simple XC gloves. I ride with glove liners under them in winter.

I've gone for these in the end as my LBS had them in stock and did me a deal: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ProductDetail.a ... e%20Gloves

I'm so digging Sombrio's stuff at the mo, I like how a lot of their freeride jerseys are more like normal, cool-looking clothes rather than logo plastered or FLAMES AND TRIBAL!!!!
