I'm after getting a pair of shoes for riding as the soles on my reebok classics flex too much and the bottom of my feet start to arch a bit if i start to do any sort of jumps, bunny hops, 180 hops etc... I am looking at the 661 Descend Taki, Filter SPD and Launch Taki and was wondering if anyone here had them and could tell me how stiff the soles are and how they find them overall ? I know the 5.10 impacts are high rated but i personally dont like the style of them from the pics, i cant go to a bike shop to check the 661's out as there's no lbs' near me, the only one i could check out is the launch taki as evans have them so i could hop on a train to check them out, they have some Nike Air Whistler which look ok from the pics.

I've just bought a pair of Adidas Berm's and they are the best flat soled riding shoes I've ever ridden. Stiff as you like and coupled with my Sunline V One's it's the best grip I've had since I took my SPD's off my bike and binned the lycra.
Berm's style is awesome too, and the inside ankle pad is a worthy feature, I've ruined a few days riding smashing my inner ankle off my flatties in the past.0 -
I'm not feeling the brown colour of the adidas berms'.0

you think the 08 five tens look bad? you should see my 07 suede ones! heh still they're perfectly stiff and stick to my pedals brilliantly i think i'd still wear them if they were bright pink0
