T25
A word of advice - buy a park tools (or equivalent one)
I bought the X-tools set from CRC and they are made of cheese - seriously rubbish!
I have now got just one (T25) this:

Yeah there's lots of threads on here starting 'I've rounded out a rotor bolt what do I no now.....'
Usually advice ends up with once you've got the offending bolt out, throw away the tool and buy a good one. It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -

I have one of them just laying around my tool kit. Is a bit superphelous to take on the trail but has all the allen keys you'll need to hand when maintenancing and will do your discs.
Is also more solid than my multi tool and bike hex setTrain hard, ride easy0 -
Also, what size is the one needed for '08 xt chainring bolts? It isn't T25 as i have one of those and it doesn't fit.
Also it is superfluous btw0 -

links to all the xt tech docs pdf's, your 08 xt will be the higher numbers i think, m770 for your cranks i guess sometimes it's stamped somewhere on the part too. download all of them for your parts good to see the exploded diagrams how all this new fangled bike gear works.0 -
