I haven't used them, but cheap panniers often secure to the rack with a hook and bungee strap, which is not secure enough for my liking, a proper clip system is much better. I can't see how these are designed though. Though not so cheap Altura panniers are pretty good.0

Altura panniers are brilliant - got the dryline ones and they are totally waterproof and "snap" into place very nicely.
Those might be okay but rattly panniers are a complete pain.0 -
They look like the identical ones to what I've got - although yours look a better price

They've not been used much, but seem OK. Not been tested in drenching water, but I bag everything up anyway.
Figured I'd see how I went on with these cheaper ones and then review it later.
For the money, quality seems fine. I'm happy enough.0 -
I have the £25 Halfords ones, they do the job just fine and fit securely to my rack0

I've got them and the fittings are pretty basic - just hooks and bungee. I ended upgrading to a better set for my daily commute. However, these ones make OK front set for touring.0

Is that the halfords ones at £28?
Website says 'unit price £14', may be able to buy only one side - if that's what you want?0 -
Hello, been lurking for a while, but I know this one...
Like Gambatte I bought a set of these off ebay a couple of years ago. I wanted cheap panniers as a way of seeing if I wanted to use panniers.
They do have metals hooks, with a small amount of velcro (fiddly, especially with gloves or cold fingers) and a bungy strap to fit them to the rack. After about 18 months of occasional use one, the most used, developed holes in the bottom and the other has a problem with one of the hooks. Both have lost their bungy straps.
I found them ok for the money but wouldn't buy them again. They did teach me the benefits of panniers so last summer I splashed out on some Altura Drylines.0
