14mm to 9mm axle???

Hi,
I am thinking of upgrading to suspension for my DMR drone. At the moment i am running a 14mm axle on the front. As the suspension forks i am looking at are for 9mm axles, is there any way to convert my axle size?? The wheel that is on the bike is stock and i don't know much about it. The forks im looking to buy are dirt jam comps (dont know the year aren't i helpful!). Cheers to anyone who can help me.

    is the axle hollow? you may beable to cut it down and get it tapped out to 3/8" and then use allen bolts.

    TBH sell the wheel amd get a new one.
