Hi, i want to fit a front mech- i'm just 9 speed at the moment.
Do i need cable guide things on my seat tube? I can run a cable down my top tube as i'm using a hydro rear brake...
Also how do i find out what size i need 28.6 or 34.9???
Whats the diferance between 'top swing' and 'conventional'?

Thanks for the help :)

a cable stop to hold the end of the outer or it will not work.

But as the bike is a low volume bike you will need to measure the seat tube to see what size it is. may not be a front mech band sized tube, but then you could look at an E type mech. But if you can not get a stop fitted (there are some that clamp round the tube) then you will not be running a front mech.

as to which bike shop time as it depends on the frame.
