Fork brace question.

The clearance between my fork brace and tyre seems really tight.
Forks: RS Reba SL
Tyres: Specialized Resolution Pro 2.1
I only have about 2cm clearance so in really muddy conditions brace gets clogged really quickly. Don't think that tyre is unusually tall is it?
Does the ratio of air between the Pos. and Neg. air chambers make any difference? i am still experimenting with this but haven't noticed this making any real difference.
I'm stuck TBH.

exsperimenting with + and - wont make any difference as the brace is attached to the lowers is it not?

nope nothing you do will change the clearance. that is what it is."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

nick - would using the spacers to increase the travel to 115mm make a difference? Sorry if that's asking you to repeat yourself.
Is it just a tall tyre then?I hate it when people say David Beckham's stupid...its not like anyone ever says: 'Stephen Hawking - he's s**t at football.' Paul Calf0 -
nope it is not related to travel. that is just the way it is."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

fork lenght will make no difference to the clearence
have u actualy had problems with the clearence or does it just look like you will0 -
Thanks guys. Yeah it clogged badly but it was so muddy I reckon it would have done that anyway. No probs when its been less axle deep.
Cheers for the response.I hate it when people say David Beckham's stupid...its not like anyone ever says: 'Stephen Hawking - he's s**t at football.' Paul Calf0 -
