cracking up

Just cleaned my bike after a serious mud plugging epic to discover a crack in my head tube at the lower headset race. Looks pretty fatal but I don't want to replace the frame.
Does anyone know if it can be fixed and how much it would cost.
It's Easton 7005 tubing which I know isn't easy to work with.
Plus is it worth riding it again or am I likely to be eating rocks if I try?

I'm sure that rattling will go away...

TBH new frame.
For a fix it will need welding then heat treating then repainting. and the head tube re cutting. cost the same or less than a frame.
but pics of the crack /bike would be good to see where it actually is."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

don't have the pics with me.
It's just behind the lower headset race, in line with the down tube.
It was covered in mud so it's quite likely I've been riding on it for a while in that state...I'm sure that rattling will go away...

if it goes through the seat for the cup then it is not really worth fixing.
Anyway were you not looking at buying a new fully?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

yeah this is true, but i still can't bear throwing away the old bike, it was my first build and except for the frame the rest is still in good nick.
Ah well...
Thanks for the advice, I'm off to talk to my bank manager...I'm sure that rattling will go away...
