Another simple yet hard to answer seat clamp question

DOOAAAHH!!!
I want to buy a Salsa Lip-Lock seat clamp and have ascertained I need a 34.9mm one.
The sizes that Salsa do are slightly different and the closest to 34.9mm is 35mm. I assume this will be fine but have to ask the probably very stupid question, will this still work the same as a 34.9mm one as if it doesn't I won't be able to return (as it will be outta the box!) At £20 all in I just want to make sure before ordering.

my flip salsa fitted great, wanted a 31.8 so got the 32.0 clamp, it was even snugger than the previous 31.8 i had to open it up slightly to fit it on, holds the post sooo much better
