    Laugh, why? Because he prefers Shimano to Campag? Or just because he's managed to spark of a pretty minor Campag vs Shimano debate?

    Yeah.. because he's sparked off THE debate, it makes me laugh because every cyclist sits on one side of the fence or the other...and there is no amount of forum banta that will make people change their sides of the fence, its a debate thats not worth having..

    You're misunderstanding the way forums work - it's not compulsory to post on them, and generally only those with strong opinions do. Those happy to sit both sides of the fence, or change sides tend not to bother adding to (or even paying any attention to) the noise generated.
