Pedal problem

I have an issue with one of my pedals, when I give it some beans I'll get a click coming form the pedal as it goes over the top of the crank arm, the click is so profound that I can actually feel it coming through my shoe! There isn't any real play in the pedal or the crank arm so I'm stumped as to what it is. Any ideas? The pedals are the standard ones that came with the bike when bought new, the bike is a CUBE attention if this helps. If it's a case of new pedals any recommendations?

park tools have a great feature on finding erroneous clicks from the drivetrain have a read. (linky below).

    It could be pedals/cranks/bb.

I had the very same problem. A loud click, the pedal would stick, need a reasl bash to get it rotating again and there was a lot of play.

This is what happend to it after i tried to fix it:

if it is your pedal im guessing there is a new one needed. Check for play in the pedals.
