what tool required to remove please...only ever see campag or shimano...have shimano but its a no!

    Is it definately a cassette? Does it say a manufacturer on? What speed is it?

    99% sure it will need a Campag tool. Miche cassettes are Campag compatible, so I'm pretty sure that would include the lock ring too.

    I fitted a Miche bottom bracket yesterday and used a Campag cassette/BB tool for the job.

    What hub is it on? The lockring has to fit the hub as well as the cassette, and Campag have changed the size of the lockring thread on at least one occasion.

    Hypocrisy is only a bad thing in other people.

    hub is Bianchi component...already fitted on my via nirone
  • Here they sell Miche cassettes with Miche shimano compatible splines + lockrings, so it depends on the hub.

    What is the groupset? Miche make Shimano HG and Campagnolo compatible cassettes. You'll probably need a Campagnolo cassette tool though, seeing as how your Shimano tool does not fit. The Bianchi Componenti hub is probably a Miche hub too.
