Assos Repairs

I have a brand new pair of 851 airblock tights and jacket that have holes in due to crashing..

has anyone returned stuff back to Assos for repair,?
What sort of damage was there?
how much did ity cost?
what is the procedure? did you send send photes , get a quote? then send it? etc



any experiences please?

    They say most repairs are carried out free of charge. I guess it depends how hard you crashed.

    My Intermediate was somehow damaged after two rides. They offered a replacement for 50% of value and I reluctantly agreed. The orignal was still very much useable, but Assos lost the top and I didn't recieve it back. Instead, they sent a pair of mild winter gloves.

    I had a pair of assos tights with crash damage & returned them ..reapired & a small charge made..you would not know they had been damaged..

    Depends on the damage. I crashed after about 2-3km in a brand new pair of shorts, fracturing my spine in the process. Didn't think shorts were *that* badly damaged, but it was on 2 panels, so they replaced them for £50. OK I suppose - cheaper than the £130 new price.

    did you get the shorts back..?

    I have a hole in the knee,
    on the jacket i have a hole in the hip and shoulder.. i think i will take some photes and send them see what happens..

    Well on the mend thanks - that was last April. Doing the Etape this July....

    I didn't get the shorts back - not that I was likely to wear them again with holes in (even though they were only small holes). I dealt with Yellow Ltd (the importer) in Staffs (I think). A mate had a pair that he sent back to Parkers as they'd worn excessively on the inside leg and he got a new pair for free. I know it shouldn't make a difference where you send them...
