Road Bike £600 Advice

Hi All,
I've recently decided that i want to get into cycling so i joined a bike to work scheme. I've managed to get £600 to spend on a new bike and I’m wondering what's best to go for? I'd like a bike that’s good on the road although I don't want to restrict myself to only being able to ride on the road. I'm also debating entering a triathlon this year so I’d need to use it for that as well. I looked at some catalogues and saw the specialized tricross sport but it's out of my price range. I've also looked at Giant and other Specialized bikes but to be honest i'm a little stuck.
Can anyone help with some advice?
Many thanks,

This ones perfect. Just under 600, and a proper cyclocross bike. 2008 version, In your price range , a set of tiagra hollowtech II cranks, nice splashes of carbon everywhere, Very sharp cantilever brakes and i can personally say that it is as light as. The frames are very similar to their road series too. You also get a proper set of cyclocross tyres with it too.
These guys do do the bike to work thing but youd have to ring them.0 -
