Morning All
Its also time for a new fork and have narrowed it down to a Float RL (either 120 or 140mm) or the Pace RC41 XCAM whic looks rather lovely.
I had seen these http://www.pearcecycles.co.uk/product/640 which seems a good price though I had heard that some Pace forks had trouble with the oil seals
I dont know anybody with a Pace so thought I'd put it to the masses and see what people think

Don't have a Pace but the new RC40 and 41 forks seem to have overcome the reliability problems that the older Paces had."Internet Forums - an amazing world where outright falsehoods become cyber-facts with a few witty key taps and a carefully placed emoticon."0

I'd say Pace purely because the model you are looking at is the old UK built version, in buying it your fuling our economy rather than some chinese sweat shop overruled by some fat american nipple end.
Also they are good forks.0 -
Interesting views on the new Pace forks! Unfortunately the UK version has a habit of dropping to bits!0

I have a Fox Float 130RL which is for sale. Its the original one from my Trek and has been gathering dust for 4 months. Its in good condition apart from the odd scratch.
I'll be selling it soon so give me a PM if you are interested. Streako

I'm running an '08 Float R, it's only done 8 road miles so far so I can't tell you how well it's going yet; I've got some big trail centre rides coming up over the next fortnight so I let you know as it beds in...0
