Just a thought. It may help those inquiring about cycle touring to think about the following basic criteria to consider in order that they may get a reasonable or detailed response to their question.
Time/season of year for departure and intended length of time to do tour ie 2 weeks, 6 months, 10 years!
Travelling solo or group.
Country or countries to pass through.
Intention of tour ie covering distance/direct, scenic/sightseeing, special interests, flexible.
On road or off road or both.
Camping sites or wild, hostal/hotel, self catering or credit card.
Using public transport.
Can anyone think of other points to consider?
I notice that a lot of questions have been unanswered or attracted replies, maybe because no-one has any information or that they may not be bothered to reply because of the vagueness of their inquiry.
