Hi,
Looking for a 26" slick or semi slick but would like it no narrower than 2.0 and no wider than 2.2
I've looked at the Halo twin rail / schwalbe marathon supreme & xr. I would prefer a lightweight folding but a light wire would be fine, just don't want a heavyweight. I like the look of the crazy bobs but they're too wide.
Thanks

They look like a good summer tyre for me Andy. Good for a few road miles to the hard trails and with a good shoulder grip. They are doing a pair for £220

I can second the mach SS's they do the job well and are cheap. Very low rolling resistance.0

I'm after a pair of slicks for mainly tarmac and a pair of semi slicks for tarmac rides to a few trails that are still hard even this time of year and rock hard in summer. I always ride a fair distance to the trails I use so don't need drag from a knobbly tyre. I don't want to go down to narrow tyre because there's no need for it and I want to keep a bigger footprint and keep the extra comfort. I can ride my road bike if I need narrow tyres.
I think the mach ss will do for the semis, especially at that price but I still need a set of slick type tyres with no shoulder to give me good tarmac cornering.0 -
My bike has Maxxis Hookworm 26x2.5 rear and Nokian All Weather Slick 26x2.0 at the front and they are excellent! For yourself you might like the Nokian for front and rear?Bikes, saddles and stuff

Thanks for the help everyone
I've ordered a pair of mach ss which will replace my ralphs when the weather picks up a bit  and a pair of halo twin rails for road use0 -
what about Continental Travel Contacts? They are a bit slimmer at 1.75, but they are awesome, no resistance and they can handle off road too (as long as it's not thick mud!) they are very tough and look trick too, had mine on all summer and left them on until a few weeks ago. only drawback is they are hard so if you have an alloy frame it's going to be a rough ride0

The tioga FS100 are pretty good, knurled, but good broad tread.0
