I use acetone regularly on carbon fibre parts, it does no harm to epoxy resins.
Hypocrisy is only a bad thing in other people.0 -
GT85 will also take any residue off carbon. I used it last year to remove road tar.Brian B.0

I know for a fact that lighter fluid would but I don't know if it would damage the carbon or the lacquer.0

try WD40 it should work, and of course will not damage your frameademort
