Moving to coventry and was wondering if the mallory park evening races are hapeening and any other good race series that are worth a look. As castle combe Thursday nights will be sadly missed

yes, Mallory Park is happening again this year. SHould be easily reachable from Coventry. Also, if you're into track , Friday Night Track League at halesowen is only 50mins drive away from Coventry.
Rugby do a short series of late summer cross races and there are also some good 'cross training sessions in the winter at Rugby.
plenty of clubs offering mid week TT's - Road Club, Cycling Club, Hinckley, Rugby Velo, Rugby RCC, Leamington C&AC through the season within short ride or drive
Kenilworth Wheelers and Coventry RC do mid week chaingangs in the summer
West Midlands Cyclo-Cross league is a very well attended league in the winter

Sutton Park in nearby Brum hosts the National 'Cross most years, Mallory Park hosts a round of the National 'Cross Series

Warwick Crits are good and part of the National Series

Loads of good training rides all around the countryside once you're out of the city.

Is Mallory definitely on MM - last I heard it was provisional - that was a couple of weeks ago on VeloRiders. Good news if it's going ahead.
