sorry if you seem to get loads of these questions.
just wondering what are the best forks to get for my hardrock sport for general riding and the odd dh trails and dirt jumping. price limit around £150 anything under would be better.

Rock Shox Toras are a great low budget fork. They are fairly strong, although DH might be a bit much. A dirt jumping fork would be stronger - look at the Marzocchi Dirt Jumper range."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0

As above. Dirt Jumper for jumping, Tora for all round trail riding.0

Probably not helpful, but if you could find another 50 quid then argyles would be good for both. What We Achieve In Life, Echoes In Eternity0

Aye, but need a 20mm hub! If so, good option.0

are these any good??
0 -
Great price, great fork - but not for DH and jumping. Its aimed at XC and the average trail.0

what kind am i looking for spring and spring, air and air or air and spring???0
-
I wouldnt say that is your priority - you need a fork that can handle the abuse you are going to give it! Spring wise, coil plusher, air more adjustable, very basically.
If its strong and cheap, take a look at this:

Last years is better though.0 -

If your mainly doing dh,trails and dirt jumping i wouldnt bother with the poploc, itll just get in the way having myself had a poploc fork and wanting to get rid of it. My new forks that i have yet to put on do not have poploc.
Could save a bit of money.

the 302s anr a lovely XC/Am fork, i have them on my bike.
Downside is they are a bit heavy but the best XC/Am fork at the price.Giant TCR advanced 2 (Summer/race)

dav do they stand up to quite big impacts??0

Ive not done any more then a few foot drops on them in terms of big impacts so nothing massive but they stand up to that no problem.
I havent done any DH/ dirt jump with them though so I cant tell you how well they hold up to that.Giant TCR advanced 2 (Summer/race)
