Hello all
i currently ride a Bianchi 2003/4 model with campag mirage gearing and was just wondering if a boardman comp would be an improvement on my current ride?

Perhaps, but why not just upgrade the Bianchi?

Might be an upgrade by specification (not checked). But why not upgrade? £400 for centaur + rest on wheels, would give a REALLY good bike.

i bought a set of mavick askium wheels last year so they now on my bike
but is the shimano tiagra gears better than my campag mirage and what about the frame will it be a lot better as things move on so quickly?

If you swapped from Campag to Shimano, you'd need to change the freehub on the wheels.

Mirage is around Tiagra i think anyway.

I can notice a difference in shifting between my two bikes, but not sure how it affects speed though.

Oh Centaur is a groupset in the Campagnalo range, above mirage, veloce, below Chorus and Record.
