Morning all,

Just looking into replacing my carbon forks and I notice that Ritchey Carbon Pro's claim to have a fork which in both standard and integrated compatible. They say the crown shoulder is 44mm which aligns with both formats.

Is it possible to find a balance (visually) or will it just look like and integrated fork on my standard headset? Is it just a cheapskate way of cutting costs and producing one version of the fork?

Anyone own or seen one of these?

  • I don't know about the Ritchey forks--but--my Van Nicholas has a conventional 1 1/8 Aheadset (FSA XL11 or something) and had Reynolds Ouzo Pro Integrated forks fitted, and in my opinion look OK as the width of the fork crown merges into the width of the bottom headrace--if you look at the bikes on the VN website I think they all have this arrangement..

  • Cheers Rich, thought that might be the case.
