I'm going on Tuesday on a guided holiday. I'll let you know how I get on.

You're probably better off going on a guided holiday. Especially if you're only going for a week or two. You would just waste all your time trying to find the trails otherwise.

cool. where abouts are you headed??

I have read a lot about the grasalema area and alcornocales park.... id like to head here but there is a distinct lack of mapped routes and info on riding areas.

Just south of Granada. I forget the name of the place. The Apulhurra mountains or something like that.

There is a book available if you're intent on doing it yourself: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Trailrider-Guid ... 653&sr=8-1

    There's some info on maps here: http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... anish+maps

Oh...and there are lots of links to tour campanies here: http://www.singletrackworld.co.uk/mod.p ... 40b1be7525

thanks for that XC. I am looking for info on the national park or alcornocales.

I have that book, the grasalema section is good but the section on alcornocales is very weak.

i cant belive that in a 170,000 hectare forest there are only 4 routes.

    still digging!!!
